Wasson-McKay Place

The Wasson-McKay Place, built of sand tone in1902, is a significant represention of a pioneer log and modest Late Victorian home. The circa-1900 Pioneer Log icehouse/cabin has whole log walls and hog trough construction which is typical construction of outbuildings and early settlers' cabins in the area.  By 1909 the owner built an ornamental concrete block addition on the south side providing space for a bathroom, larger kitchen, and pantry.
