The Royal Gorge Dinosaur Experience

Experience the ultimate dinosaur adventure and home of the world-famous 'Bone Wars'! Come learn why our area is famous for dinos in a fun, guided museum tour and see fossils and casts of incredible dinosaur and marine creatures. Then step outside and be amazed as you come face-to-face with full-scale animatronic dinosaurs in our nature park, where life-like dinosaurs move and make sound as you walk by. And for the thrill-seekers, climb up a three-story ropes course that brings you eye-to-eye with animated dinosaurs like T. rex! Not to leave out the smallest kids, we have a pint-size ropes course for them too. It's fun for the whole family! Check out our working paleo lab, kids room, awesome theater, snack bar, and extensive gift shop. We have recieved Trip Advisor's Certificate of Excellence, a Red Tricycle Totally Awesome Award, and more.
New this year is the addition of another fun dig pit where guests sift and search for cool fossil and gem treasures and get to keep their favorite finds. Guests participate in fossil hunting and leave with exciting keepsakes!
