34th ANNUAL CRESTED BUTTE FESTIVAL OF THE ARTS
August 5-6, 2006:
One of the oldest events in the state, Crested Butte draws artists, photographers and crafts enthusiasts from around the country for one of summer's biggest weekend events. Enjoy open-air arts and crafts, live music and Crested Butte's National Historic District with one-of-a-kind shops, art galleries, boutiques and restaurants set against the backdrop of the Elk Mountain Range.
AERIAL DANCE FESTIVAL 2006
August 6-18, 2006:
Experience the joy of dancing as Boulder presents a festival of daring dancers, trapeze talent and aerial movement. For beginners and advanced dancers, feel the rhythm during the two-week session of classes, demonstrations and breathtaking performances.
COPPER COUNTRY
September 1-3, 2006:
Two-step your way to Copper Mountain as the ski resort turns country for Labor Day weekend. 30th ANNUAL COLORADO BALLOON CLASSIC
September 2-4, 2006:
Hot air balloons rise to the sky in Colorado Springs during the state's largest and the longest continuously running hot air balloon festival.
